NUHSPlus Communciations' Outreach Privacy Policy

1. By subscribing to the NUHSPlus e-newsletter, you consent to National University Health System’s (NUHS) collection, use, and disclosure (including transfer) of your Personal Data in accordance with this NUHSPlus Communications’ Outreach Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy"). P  lease DO NOT provide us with any Personal Data if you do not accept this Privacy Policy. "Personal Data" has the meaning as defined in the Personal Data Protection Act of Singapore 2012 (“PDPA”). 
2. We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated Privacy Policy will supersede earlier versions and will apply to Personal Data provided to us previously. This  Privacy Policy shall be read in conjunction with the NUHSPlus Website’s Terms of Use (www.nuhs.edu.sg/terms-of-use). Continued subscription following any updates of the Privacy Policy and the NUHSPlus Website’s Terms of Use (“Revised Policy and Terms”) constitutes your acceptance of the Revised Policy and Terms. 

Use of Your Personal Data

3. We may collect, use and disclose your Personal Data for the purposes listed below and any other related or associated purposes (collectively the "Purposes"):
• Sending you our newsletters, health alerts or related information, surveys, updates; promotional materials or any other contents on NUHSPlus that may be relevant to you;
• Personalising content based on your interests and demographic information;
• sending you information on promotions by our partners or invitations to events;
• carrying out research, planning and statistical analysis, including satisfaction surveys to improve and personalise our services to you;
• managing your relationship with us;
• assisting you with your enquiries;
• obtaining feedback;
• analysing engagements to improve future communications;
• transfer to and from computer systems operated or managed by third parties (including Singpass) in order to provide you with the services from NUHSPlus;
• supporting internal processes required to provide you with the relevant services, such as accounting, risk management and record keeping;
• providing outreach functions via systems operated or managed by third parties (including CRM systems managed by the NUHS/ Synapxe etc.); and
• purposes which are reasonably related to the above.
• All Personal Data will be handled in accordance with the PDPA. We will retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the Purposes or for legal, regulatory and compliance obligations.
• We do not sell any Personal Data in our possession to anyone or any third party for any purpose. Your Personal Data will not be published on our website or otherwise made available by us, unless otherwise agreed or self-initiated. We will only disclose your Personal Data in circumstances that have been specifically notified to you or otherwise only in limited circumstances such as to government departments, statutory boards, regulatory or law enforcement agencies or in accordance with the applicable laws.

Protection/Management of Your Personal Data

6. To safeguard your Personal Data, all electronic storage and transmission of Personal Data is secured with appropriate security technologies and systems.
7. These systems may only be accessed by authorised staff of NUHS using assigned registered user IDs and passwords. We will not share your information with any third parties without your consent.
8. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during subscription is accurate and up to date. If your information changes, please notify us at nuhs_group_comms@nuhs.edu.sg

Retention of Your Personal Data

9. We shall retain the Personal Data only for so long as it is necessary for the Purposes or for other business, legal, regulatory or compliance purposes including to meet the retention requirements of the Ministry of Health or/and in adherence with contractual agreements.

Unsubscribe from Mailing List/Withdrawal of Consent

10. You may choose to unsubscribe from the NUHSPlus e-newsletter at any time. By doing so, we will no longer use and disclose your Personal Data for the Purposes, unless otherwise permitted under the law. To unsubscribe, you can submit the form at https://form.gov.sg/691587468708b7c82b0a5b6d.
